The Corona epidemic has wreaked havoc on almost all economic sectors in the world. Online education is becoming ubiquitous in order to ensure that children's education is not disrupt during the lockdown period. Some guidelines have been issued by the government for this purpose. Online education needs to be see as an option in times of increasing corona infection.
According to a survey conducted by e-marketer, the problems of internet connectivities in rural areas is much more high compare cities. Also, keeping this problem in mind, Mandeshi Tarang Vahini, Mhaswad in Maan taluka had undertook an innovative initiative.
Mrs. President of Mandeshi Foundation had decided to air An innovative program called 'My Radio School' on Mandeshi Channel under the guidance of Chetna Sinha and Prabhat Sinha President's of Mandeshi.
Most of the students do not have smart mobiles due to which their schooling is getting affected. Due to this, a special program for school children is being broadcast on Mandeshi Radio every morning from 10 am to 11 am. Through this program, textbook lessons will be taught to the children of class I to IV. Other subjects will be taught by the respective teachers through radio studio. Broadcast of this program will be air on Radio FM 90.4MHz channel.
Mandeshi Tarang Vahini (Community Radio Center) was started in 2009 to spread Mandeshi culture and customs all over the world. In particular, it is the first radio station in Maharashtra run by women.
In fact, the problem of internet is very big in rural areas, some poor students do not even have a smart mobile. For blind students, radio is a very important medium to listen to any information, developments and schooling. With all this in mind, Maan Desi Tarang Vahini has started this innovative program to help educate vulnerables.
